Comment spammers are morons
I'd like to automatically can the basest morons of them all.
A significant proportion of comment spam is based on dictionary attacks. Dictionary of quotations attacks. Consider this recent instance:

The public is wonderfully tolerant. It forgives everything except genius.
Comment spammers are still larval. We can defeat them by knowing where they get their source of mindless pap from. Let’s do so, and while they try and work out ways of getting around it, maybe we can find a decent way of getting rid of comment spam altogether.
