When technology gets it wrong
Clutter's wrong guesses embarassingly displayed on a public blog
One of the great things iTunes does is do Shuffle mode right. You can tell it to play random things, but - and this is so important - to play things an album at a time. This is good, because it plays things in the order you’re accustomed to, rather than playing track 4 of one album and then track 10 of a completely different one.
“Rubber Ducky (German Techno Remix)” by Bert and Ernie came up on the random shuffle. I can’t remember where I got this - I think Josh sent it to me. It’s a fantastic German-language novelty single version of the Rubber Ducky song, and I love it. But Clutter is sorely confused. It asks Amazon, and Amazon says “dunno, but it might be this.”
Amazon is so, so wrong.
