Convert Euros to Dollars. Then convert Dollars back to Euros. Repeat.
Step by step, photo by photo (via Boing Boing), this Austrian guy whittles €50 down to chump change by dint of converting it into Dollars and back - repeatedly.
Which is fair enough, and a nice stunt, but he then goes and spoils it by quoting Karl Marx and saying “Change the entire, global supply of cash from Euros to Dollars. And back. Repeat the process 849 times. 18 cents will remain.”
Which, of course, is the same as saying “If we gave all of the world’s money to this one bank, the world wouldn’t have any money left.”
Which I don’t think anyone would disagree with.
